Prof. Carsten P. Welsch

Professor Carsten P Welsch is Head of the Liverpool Physics Department and leader of the QUASAR Group, based at the Cockcroft Institute. He is specialized in accelerator design and optimization, the development of novel beam diagnostics, as well as applications of accelerators. Professor Welsch has been involved in many international research projects, amongst which five large scale research networks that he initiated. He is a frequent speaker at international workshops and conferences.
