Kieran Mulroney Describes his Research into Antibiotic Resistance Profiling

Kieran Mulroney, a PhD candidate at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, The University of Western Australia, describes his research into the rapid diagnosis of severe bacterial infections and antibiotic resistance profiling. In the future, he hopes to develop portable diagnostics technology that can be used to detect antibiotic resistance in bacterial infections in parts of the developing world that need it most.
