Personalized nanomedicine: Advanced targeted therapy to treat rare disease

In this video, Dr. Nura Mohamed, research associate at Qatar University, discusses how she is applying nanomedicine to improve the detection and treatment strategy of pulmonary arterial hypertension. Dr. Nura Mohamed

Dr. Nura Adam Mohamed is currently working as a research associate at Qatar University, Doha-Qatar, and holds an honorary research associate position at Imperial College of London. She obtained her BSc degree in Biomedical Science from Qatar University, and her MRes and PhD from Imperial College of London. Dr. Mohamed has won numerous local and international awards, she has presented her work at prestigious conferences both locally in Qatar and internationally. Furthermore, she is a member of the British Pharmacological Society (BPS), the BPS Advisory Group, the BPS meeting committee and will be representing the BPS in the World Congress of Basic & Clinical Pharmacology-2023. Dr. Mohamed aims to develop nanoformulations that have cardioprotective effects, to provide better treatment options for diabetes mellitus (DM) patients, in addition to better shaping the DM nanomedicine field in Qatar/Gulf area/Middle-East/world.
