Fera Science Discusses How to Improve the Efficiency of Pesticides
7 May 2017
Dr. Stuart Adams, Senior Analytical Chemist at Fera Science, explains how his laboratory analyzes over 100,000 samples per year for pesticides, veterinary medicines, mycotoxins and other contaminants. The lab uses a combination of routine analysis and high resolution LC-MS to screen samples for around 500 pesticides in a single test. Dr. Adams describes how the laboratory is improving efficiency of screening by using both qualitative and quantitative information to report the correct result and by adopting automated technology.
