Dr. Louise Hughes, Bio-Imaging Unit, Researcher and Microscopist at Oxford Brookes University, explains the cutting-edge research that her lab is doing into plants, parasites, viruses and general cell ultra-structure. Dr. Hughes also uses serial block-face scanning electron microscopy to generate high-resolution 3D images.
