Multimodal 3D imaging of cells under attack
15 Jun 2022
In this presentation, Maria Harkiolaki, Principal Beamline Scientist for Beamline B24, discusses a method that has been developed that combines fluorescence microscopy and cryo-soft X-ray tomography to investigate cells under viral attack. Harkiolaki also details microscopy theory and applications, imaging requirements, common challenges associated with microscopy, and correlative light and X-ray tomography (CLXT). This talk was presented at the SelectScience® Virtual Microbiology and Infectious Disease Summit 2022.
