Patti DeJuilio, MS, RRT-ACCS, NPS, is Clinical Director of Respiratory Care Services and the Sleep Center at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital. She is a credentialed neonatal/pediatric and adult critical care specialist, and earned a master’s in respiratory care from Rush University. She earned the Six Sigma Green Belt in project management. She has 37 years of experience in Respiratory Care at Northwestern Medicine. Patti has published and presented her work on ventilator-acquired pneumonia reduction, ventilator weaning with early mobility, multidisciplinary teams improve outcomes, open design mask use, improved outcomes with the use of point of care blood gas testing, as well as several other topics. Patti is passionate about consistent, evidenced-based best practices to reduce variance and improve quality of results, department costs, and patient outcomes.
